Alberta has recorded another 218 COVID-19 cases since Thursday’s update.
There were two new cases in the Central zone and there is still only one active case in the County of Vermilion River. A total of 87 cases are listed in the Central zone.
The provincial total is now at 5,573 cases and 2,359 are considered recovered.
There have been 92 COVID-related deaths in Alberta to date as three more were reported in the past 24-hours, all in continuing care facilities experiencing an outbreak.

Over 153,000 tests have been processed across the province since the onset of the pandemic.
