The Lloydminster RCMP says they’ve arrested numerous suspects during a month long project focused on bringing in suspects on outstanding warrants.
In total from March 9th to April 9th, 194 warrants were executed, and a total of 70 people were arrested. The Lloydminster RCMP says numerous charges were laid against offenders for failing to abide by their court ordered release conditions.
Constable Brittany Pegg of the Lloydminster RCMP Crime Reduction Unit says their intelligence and investigations, including public tips, allowed them to focus on finding main offenders in the City and getting them before the courts quickly.
Officers also gave out dozens of additional charges against various offenders, including weapons and drug charges.
