December electric rates up 24 per cent: Direct Energy

Direct Energy Regulated Services (DERS) says its default electric rates for December areĀ about 24 per cent higher than the energy rate charged in November.

A typical residential customer consuming 600 kWh per month would see about $27.09 or a 10 per cent increase on their bill compared to last month.

The price breakdown reads:
