RCMP investigate armed robbery in Battlefords

Battlefords RCMP are looking for the suspect in an armed robbery.

On April 18th, around 10:00 p.m., Battlefords RCMP responded to a call andĀ attendedĀ the 29th Street Market in Battleford.

An unidentified suspect entered the business, brandishing a knife, took anĀ undisclosed amount of cash, and then fled the store on foot with the money.

None of the employees were injured in the incident.

The suspect has beenĀ described as male, approximately 5ā€™6ā€ to 5ā€™9ā€ tall, husky build. He was wearing a grey hooded-sweatshirt with a Saskatchewan Rough Rider’s logoĀ on withĀ “100 years” printed on it, as well as camouflage pants, dark shoes,Ā gloves, and a dark mask covering his face.

Battlefords RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual responsible.
