RCMP investigate armed robbery in Battlefords

Battlefords RCMP are looking for the suspect in an armed robbery.

On April 18th, around 10:00 p.m., Battlefords RCMP responded to a call and attended the 29th Street Market in Battleford.

An unidentified suspect entered the business, brandishing a knife, took an undisclosed amount of cash, and then fled the store on foot with the money.

None of the employees were injured in the incident.

The suspect has been described as male, approximately 5’6” to 5’9” tall, husky build. He was wearing a grey hooded-sweatshirt with a Saskatchewan Rough Rider’s logo on with “100 years” printed on it, as well as camouflage pants, dark shoes, gloves, and a dark mask covering his face.

Battlefords RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual responsible.
