Ahead of the Saturday, March 9 Battle of the Badges fundraiser, the Lloydminster RCMP is advising not to click on any links claiming to be livestreaming the match as it’s not being livestreamed. Admission to the Civic Centre is by cash donation and non-perishable food donations only. Also, do not purchase tickets or send money to someone who says they’ll transfer tickets.
The hockey game features a friendly rivalry between the Lloydminster Fire Department and RCMP as they raise funds and donations for Lloydminster non-profits including the Olive Tree and Salvation Army. Monetary donations will go toward youth membership programs at Big Brother Big Sister of Lloydminster.
Puck drop is at 12:30 p.m. at the Centennial Civic Centre.
