Parking bans are now extended to the yellow curbside collection zoneĀ as Lloydminster city crews lead residential snow removal in the yellow and blue curbside collection zones.
Warmer temperatures in the forecast this week will be welcomed as the city asks that motorists not park on the streets in the yellow zone which includes areas west of 50 Avenue and north of 25 Street. The ban is in effect from March 11-20, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Also, avoid leaving obstacles like carts on the streets and allow the snow plows to get the job done.
Residential snow removal is underway in the blue zone for areas west of 59 Avenue and south of 44 Street. Similar parking bans are in effect in the blue zone for the duration of the snow removal, expected to be completed by March 15.
