Unemployment in Lloydminster continues to move up in 2024 on both sides of the city.
On the Saskatchewan side, the stat rose from 4.4 per cent in February to 5.4 per cent in March in the region of Prince Albert and Northern Saskatchewan which includes Lloydminster.
On the Alberta side of Lloydminster, which is covered in the Camrose Drumheller area, the stat went up from 4.8 to 5.0 per cent.
Overall, Saskatchewan’s unemployment is at 5.4 per cent, while Alberta’s is at 6.7 per cent for March.
