Lloydminster schools get over $155K from teacher innovation fund

Lloydminster schools in both school divisions are getting funding of $155,611 for school projects under the Teacher Innovation and Support program.

The list includes:

  1. Bishop Lloyd Middle School LPSD – Tech-Enhanced Industrial Arts – Student Wellness/Safety  – $32,500
  2. Bishop Lloyd Middle School- LPSD – Public Kinesthetic Classroom – Student Wellness/Safety – $73,332
  3. Lloydminster Comp- LPSD – Public Drafting & Design 3D Printer – STEM/Tech – $1,279
  4. Holy Rosary High School – LCSD – Responsibility Centered Discipline Staff Training -Teacher Practice $48,500. This is a system to create a culture of student self-responsibility within a school.

From February to April, the Saskatchewan education ministry has pumped $1,510,755 into 41 projects under the teacher innovation and support program, unveiled in January with a budget of $2.5 million.
