This year the Battle of the Sexes Charity Car Wash shifted their focus to help two local charities. I Love Alberta Boobs and the Men’s Shelter were the two causes the car wash chose to support on Saturday.
“We wanted to go with something a little bit more local for the men’s team this year and I figured the Men’s Shelter was a great option and I Love Alberta Boobs, we just love helping them out,” says organizer Randy Marsh.
In total, $663.30 was raised for the Men’s Shelter and $681.81 was raised for I Love Alberta Boobs. This breaks last years total of $468.30 raised for both I love Alberta Boobs and Movember.
Marsh says he couldn’t have done it without all of the help he received.
“I would be absolutely nowhere if it weren’t for the people that wanted to man the barbecue station and wanted to help wash cars and help set up the dyno and stuff like that.”
