Battlefords RCMP is investigating after a 38-year-old gunshot victim was received at BattlefordĀ Union Hospital.
On Saturday, Police say they received a call from the hospital of a man who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. The man gave a false name to officers and hospital staff and fabricated story on how the injury occurred added RCMP.
The investigation continued with a search warrant being issued for a BattlefordĀ home in which 6 firearms and a lot of ammunition were found. Police say no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
