City Hall to hold open house on Facilities Master Plan survey

The City of Lloydminster is inviting residents to an open house on the Facilities Master Plan survey.

The drop-in will be held Tuesday, August 11, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. in Bud Miller Park, at the Parks Centre’s north patio, next to the Splash Park. General Manager of Facilities Peter McHugh and General Manager of Community and Cultural Services Patrick Lancaster will be there to share the results of the survey, and answer any questions from the public.

In June 2015, City Hall hired WSP Canada to conduct a Facilities Master Plan to evaluate the current status and long-term needs for recreation, culture, education and emergency services facilities throughout the community. Concluding in April 2016, the city says the study will take input from user groups, residents, the mayor, council and administration.

The survey will remain open until Saturday, August 15, and can be found on the city’s website.
