An early morning theft in Lloydminster had one thief posing for the camera, as three others also went through vehicles, and it’s all caught on surveillance video. Outreach worker Chantel Butt found her truck rummaged through Wednesday morning with various items stolen, including the activities she uses to work with special needs children. Butt tells GOAT NEWS she feels absolutely violated and can’t sleep because she’s constantly checking to see if anyone is on her property. Butt says it is a blatant show of disrespect and it’s only getting worse in the border city. Butt says a neighbourhood watch program could be a solution in helping the RCMP and catching these thieves. She said she worries about the safety of her family, and questions if Lloydminster is a safe place to live anymore.
