An armed suspect barricaded himself in an apartment building on the 5100 block of 36 street.

Members were informed that a male, later identified as 22-year-old Craig Fox of Little Pine First Nation, had attacked another male with a machete, and was now running around the apartment building. Fox was charged with assault with a weapon, two counts of assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, failing to comply with a probation order and two counts of uttering threats. Fox was remanded in custody for his court appearance on Tuesday, May 28 in Lloydminster Provincial Court.
