The City says the outdoor pool will remain closed following “unforeseen circumstances” installing the new waterslide. The outdoor pool was originally scheduled to reopen July 3, at 6:30 p.m. following the installation. Public swimming lessons will be moved to the Bioclean Aquatic Centre (BAC).
Public swimming at the BAC is cancelled between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to accommodate the swimming lessons originally scheduled at the outdoor pool. The outdoor pool will be closed on Thursday, July 4, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and public swimming lessons will remain as scheduled for tomorrow. The City advises following its social media pages for updates on the outdoor pool.
