Lloydminster’s new off-leash dog park pilot project is now open. The park, located at 42nd Street and 47th Avenue is one and a half acres of fenced-in grass, and is open from dawn until dusk. Director of Public Works Alan Cayford said in a press release that his team plans to use the park to guage the public’s reaction to an off-leash park. The park currently provides doggy bags and garbage bins, and plans to install park benches and signs shortly.
