18 new COVID cases in Sask, four in North Zone

The Saskatchewan Government has announced 18 new COVID-19 confirmed cases in the Province, bring the total up to 293.

47 of those cases are in the North Zone, which houses Lloydminster and the surrounding area, an increase of four in the last 24 hours.

Of these numbers, 109 cases are travel-related, 71 are community transmissions, 14 have no known exposure and 55 are under investigation by local public health

The province has also confirmed that 12 more people have recovered from the disease across Saskatchewan, which brings the recovery number up to 67.

To date, 13,528 COVID-19 tests have been done province-wide, with 12,812 negatives.
