Students in Grades 4 and 6 at Rendell Park Elementary School have been told to enter self isolation as more COVID-19 cases were found.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority confirmed the cases on November 20th, impacting students in the fourth and sixth grades.
Public Health has determined that all students in these grades have been close contacts, and are required to begin immediate self-isolation.
The LPSD says communication has been shared with the affected classroom and cohorts, as well as the school community. For the sake of privacy, more specifics about this case will not be released.
All students and families are being reminded to help control the spread by doing daily health screenings, staying home if ill, calling HealthLine 811 if exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, practicing proper hand hygiene, maintaining physical distancing as much as possible and wearing a mask when appropriate.
The LPSD says they will work with Rendell Park Elementary School Administration, the SHA and Public Health to provide more information when it’s available.
