Canada 155 at Bud Miller

Lloydminster residents will be able to enjoy the nation’s 155th birthday at Bud Miller Park from 1 p.m. on Friday July 1st.

The city will kick off its Canada Day observances with opening ceremonies at the Amphitheatre. Then visitors will enjoy a cross section of entertainment, including live local music, a farmers market, Bioclean Adventure Zone, food vendors and family activities.

Another highlight will be a freestyle motorcycle stunt show at 1:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Fireworks will light the night at 11 p.m.

There will be no parking within Bud Miller All Seasons Park.

Residents are being invited to post to social media using  #yllCanadaDay when sharing event-related posts on their favourite platforms.

Free shuttle service picks up and drops off from Servus Sports Centre and Bud Miller All Seasons Park will run every half hour from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Parking is permitted at Lakeland College, Vic Juba Community Theatre and where available in the residential area.

The city is also encouraging people to bike to the park as bike racks will be available.
