As Muslims around the world are wrapping up the Holy Month of Ramadan, the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr will begin on Friday.
Following a month of fasting and prayer, the service at the Lloydminster Mosque is planned for Friday at 10 a.m. with the Eid greetings at 10:45 a.m.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Lloydminster will also be celebrating the festival by extending traditional greetings, wearing festive clothing, exchanging gifts, enjoying special meals and distributing them by visiting each other’s homes.
The Baitul Amaan Mosque is located at 4530 50 Street, Lloydminster.
