The City of Lloydminster has announced the closure of roads this coming Wednesday.
The roads are being shut down due to the route of the Colonial Days Parade, which winds south from the Lloydminster Exhibition Grounds and around the downtown core of the city, ending up back in the Exhibition Grounds at the end of the event.
Parking restrictions will be in place along the parade route, beginning at 8 a.m. and running into 12 p.m.
The streets affected will be as follows:
56 Street, from 49 Avenue to 50 Avenue
50 Avenue, from 51 Street to 56 Street
51 Street, from 50 Avenue to 51 Avenue
51 Avenue, from 50 Street to 51 Street
50 Street, from 51 Avenue to 52 Avenue
52 Avenue, from 46 Street to 50 Street
46 Street, from 49 Avenue to 52 Avenue
49 Avenue, from 46 Street to 56 Street
