The body of five-year-old Calgary girl Taliyah Leigh Marsman has been found.
An Amber Alert was issued for the missing girl on Tuesday, the morning after her mother, Sara Baillie, was found dead in their home, which has since been ruled a homicide.
Taliyah’s body was found late yesterday, about eight kilometers east of Calgary, just off McKnight Boulevard.
46-year-old Edward Downey has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

Downey, who also goes by Simmons, is scheduled to appear in court July 20, and will remain in custody until that date.
An autopsy on Taliyah’s body is scheduled for today.
